I have been following MtGun44 guide on Casting and Loading 9MM rounds. I slugged my Barrel and came up with .353 dia (Bottom of grove to Bottom of grove) with a Micrometer. Despite MtGun44 warning against Tumble Lube Boolits I am going to try, I have the C frame press and have been sizing my 45 Boolits like that. I choose the Lee TL-356-124-TC mold and the Lee 90046 sizing kit suppose to size to .356 dia. According to MtGun44 tutorial the Boolits should be .001-.002 bigger than slug. Will the .356 be to Large for my gun? I'm understanding the 9MM can be a bear to reload sometime so I'm trying to get it as close as possible.

353 is not your groove measurement.
it's most likely your bore measurement, which would make your groove measurement more like 357.

When I got home tonight I read your response and was concerned I messed up. I pulled the slug out and stuck it under my magnifier. Turns out I measured from a Land to a Groove so the real measurement Groove to Groove is .355 inch's. So the .356 mold and Sizer should be OK?

.356 or .357 should work if you are showing .355. Hope my notes are helping.

Good luck, I do understand the attraction of the TL method, and some have had good
results. I'm sure you will get this sorted out.

I do plan on getting a Lube Sizer. Just need to wait for the right deal, going to school so money is tight! I try and save a couple bucks every week toward my loading/Gun addiction!! LOL!!

Bill as far as your notes go since I am going to use the Tumble Lube Mold for now we shall see when the hammer falls!! But the notes have given me a GREAT start, and like most of this hobby I'm sure I'll learn something else along the way!!

The lee TL356-124 is what I've recently cast 250 boolits with.Using alox lube, some went through the lee 356 sizer, some were loaded as cast.At the range today, the non sized ones were a slight bit more accurate out of my PF9,than the sized ones.No leading issues yet.You should have good results from that mold as well.
