Anyone know where I can obtain the sideplate cylinder stop for a Dan Wesson M15? I was shooting the revolver yesterday when the cylinder stop departed for parts unknown. We continued to fire the revolver without the cylinder stop but it needs to be replaced. Any info would be appreciated. 'Tuck (as in Kentuck)

If all else fails, a gunsmith ought to be able to fabricate one for you without excessive expense -- it's a small part and I presume it's either threaded in or silver soldered (I hadn't really realized it was a separate part until reading this thread, but looking at my Model 15 I can see that the stop is in fact attached, not machined on the frame).

mods: I have found the part I need and this thread can be deleted.

For anyone interested, the following information is provided. The part needed is manufactured by Jack First Gunshop, 1201 Turbine Drive, Rapid City, S. D. 57703. Phone # is 605-343-9544. Cost is $ 32.64 which includes shipping and handling. 'Tuck (as in Kentuck)
