according to a new study on lead exposure. This study links lead exposure to criminal activity. Supposedly the effects of lead exposure, on the brain increases the chances that a person may become a criminal.

What I find amusing is that our fathers and grandfathers probably had more exposure to lead than mine and the current generation yet dispite the fact that extensive efforts to reduce lead exposure have been in effect since the mid 70's it seems the current generation is responsible for the highest crime rates in our history.

Guess I better go out and rob a bank or shoot somebody.

Of course, they also said that masturbation caused criminality and insanity. Circumcision was promoted as a way of reducing monkey-spanking, to keep kids out of the prisons and asylums. That's how it got to be near-universal practice in America among "respectable" Gentiles. Sort of a muzzle brake, I guess.

If you use lead and also have made the acquaintance of Rosie Palm, you're doomed. If the above applies and you've been trimmed, it didn't work. Your parents ought to ask for their money back on the trim job.

Oy. My Mohel only worked for tips... ;)

ROFL! Though it did take me a while to get it; knew the word but had to dredge the meaning out of some long unused brain cells!

Those poor little ghetto children of olden days did better financially and achievement wise munching on paint chips and living in poverty than their contemporary peers do now on rap, dope, elite gang membership and federal intervention. BvT

Yep, I've been wearing glasses for most of my life. [smilie=1:

In fact, I'll confess, I have been known to play with my Johnson in public. Here's a picture:

Folks here in Bristol got used to seeing me ride around on my Harley with my Johnson slung over my shoulder.

You can have one like it of your own:

It's all about group think and crowd control. Gin up a "study" and pass it off as gospel.

Just like the OSHA BS, this is an attack on components and a back door attempt at gun control.

Ladies and gentlemen, I ask you from whence does lead come from in the first place? Mother Earth, and it always has and no one was harmed by it unless they ate it. Same could be said for oil, but that's a topic for another day.

We have to fight these bed wetting socialists with an iron fist and put THEM on the defensive.

I like the taste of lead. Even sprinkle sprue on my cereal in the morning and it hasn't affected me at all except for needing to shave more often (http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b233/targetshootr/dog_wearing_sunglasses.jpg).

It's not the "shaving more often" that bothers me so much, it's the having to shave places that didn't need shaving before that bothers me. I think it's a mixture of asbestos, lead, nicotine, DDT and old age.

.....monkey-spanking.........

Not politically correct to say that anymore (might hurt some monkey's self esteem), you should instead refer to it as "performing corporal punishment on the primate".

My momma always beat on the bathroom door yelling at me if I didn't quit doing that I'd go blind....and here I sit with trifocals.............

When the 'boffins' took lead out of our petrol (gasoline) and replaced it with benzene my friend argued that lead would only make you dumb whereas bezene causes cancer. He said he would rather be dumb than dead. I bit my tongue.....:-D [smilie=1:

Dakotashooter,

You're lookin' at this all wrong. There weren't that many laws to break way back when. Man our forefathers would have all been in jail today! Regardless of their lead exposure!

Today everything is against the law. I'll bet statistically they can show the lead exposure link, at least somewhere with someone. Then they will extrapolate that to everyone.

I took a statistics course once and the best thing I learned was....

Statistics don't lie....but Statisticians do!

(my apologies to any lead exposed statisticians...they would never lie)
