Fellers thinkin of modifying some molds ,but really undecided `bout a 3 hole Lachmiller .

It cast nice fat 160ish gr. SWCs but it a GC , which we know is not really needed for 1200fps loads .

Would ya deshank it or not ???

Keep it vintage or change it to summtin I`ll use ???

Sell it to a collector for good money and buy something you will use.

I'm still new enough to the casting game to not have a great grasp of what the classics are, but classics should probably be left alone - for horse-trading if nothing else.

It's not like good .357 molds in that weight range are exactly rare.

I'd de-shank it, t'were it I. Lachmiller Molds have about the same degree of collectibility as Ford Pinto's. Though having said that, I've cleaned up several badly leaded barrels back in my shade tree gunsmith days that would not have happened had those projectiles had gas checks. You might want to keep it as is (just in casies.)

It is your mould, do as you wish. I have no say in this.

Sell it, look for a mold you need or want. Back in the day, pintos, vegas were a good one to stuff a sm block V-8 in. Some body in high school always wanted one.
Im sure you'll make a good decision. Good luck. Post pics if ya drill it !
