Just got my tool in the mail. They shipped fast and the thing is a work of art. Very well made and very sharp. Next time I cast some GC bullets with my cheepie molds I can cut off that little bit of flash that makes my life miserable.

Can't wait for my mould to come in!

Glad you've solved your problem. Have you tried to fix the mold? I would remove the sprue plate and make sure it's flat, not warped (a piece of emery cloth on a pane of glass, and keeping the plate flat on the cloth rub back and forth a few times to see if the plate is flat). I have "draw filed" the top of the mole to ensure it's flat and to correct some dents. Too much screw tension or too little screw tension can cause flash....

Indeed a nice tool, I have them on my benches for the odd boolit that needs fettling.

If it was a regular occurrence then I'd look to fixing the cause, I wouldn't like the idea if having to use it on every boolit.
