Looks like I may be able to get some lead wire but not sure if it would be too hard for 22 cal bullet making?

2% will work just fine.

I think it would work fine too. Most commercial bullets have that same amount. Not sure how hard that gets but I typically addvise everyone to keep their cores as soft as possible, usually 10BNH or less. You should be good to go.

antimonial lead swages the same as pure.
it's tin that changes things.
the antimony does act different when used for hunting purposes however.

Yep. This would be wire from a distributor who makes wire for Hornady, Speer, ATK and others.

Well my biggest concern is wear on the dies. Sure you can swage it. Would 2% be less desirable?

they use 3-5% to swage stuff like hornady wad cutters.
and to swage chemical pipe from.
22 bullets are 1.5% antimony and they are swaged too.
you won't notice 2% antimony in either the handle or the die.
it's actually good to have the antimony in the lead, it gives it a little more "glide" when being formed to shape.

Some Benchrest grade bullet makes are useing lead with up to 5% antimony. They like it better then pure lead for some reason.
I doubt 2% would be a problem working with.
