I am in the middle of a 300blk build and am looking for load data. I have quite a bit of wc846 and wc844 powder. The bullet I will be using is lees 155gn harris design with gascheck. I realize there are better powders out there for 300blk but has anyone worked up ok loads with the above mentioned powders?

I too have a bunch of WC844 on hand. I thinks its going to be too slow for a 300 Black out load though. I have heard of people getting some of the heavy jacketed bullets to fly with these powders. But I havent tried it yet.

Try, you never know. It's a slower powder for the case capacity so treading new ground should be safe enough. Please post results as inquiring minds want to know!

I got 4895 and pulled 54R powder to work with 155 gr bullets in the AR I dont see why the two ball powders you mentioned wouldnt . Try around 17 grs with a mag primer . Vel. wont be real peppy but it should work enough to cycle the action

This may give you some more data points with WC846. 32g WC846 309-160-r Lee mold GC Hardened 45min/450F WW with 1% tin. Pink Lube. 303 Lee-Enfield Savage. Avg 1983 fps SD 24.87 fps ES 75 fps The group showed promise. The sheet was below the aim point and rifle was sighted in for full load j rounds.

How did you get 32 grains of any powder in the 300blk case? I'm surprised it held that much.
