I just picked up another Geha for my rack. This one is about as nice a one as I have ever had and the bolt head is unbroken and complete. Most of the others I have gotten were either missing the detachable bolt head or it was damaged in some way so now I have a perfect example to use for a pattern.

Although the Geha isn't the strongest gun made they seem to work well and I do have a friend who trimmed the barrel on his and soldered on a front sight and put on a reap peep and made a deer gun. I load mine with 1 1/8 loads and it willl drop turkeys at 30 yards.

For those who are not familiar the Geha/ Remo/ Hard Hit Heart were shotgun conversions done to surplus M98 actions after WWI and sold here by Sears and others till about 1930. I keep one around because this was my Dad's first shotgun in the 30's.

I have a friend that has (or had) one. I never really looked closely at it though. Maybe I should if he still has it.
