I just worked up a different practice load for my G20/LW barrel. I know there is very little data out there for WST so I thought I'd pass this along.
I started at 4.6gr
Mixed headstamp brass
Winchester large pistol primers
155gr hard cast FN bullets
5.4gr WST
1.250 oal
Getting a chrony tomorrow, can't wait .
In the final test I loaded my magazine with alternating factory ammo and these reloads . After 60 rounds it was obvious the reloads are softer shooting and no difference in accuracy at 15 yds.
The fast burning WST is great for light to medium loads. Don't try to load heavy or you could have pressure spikes and as Marvin the Martian said "An earth shattering Kaboom"
If you plan to shoot a lot of 10s your hand will love you for using this load.
