Many moons ago ... a lot longer than I care to think about ... I acquired a lead hammer mould and three handles. The head is about a pound. Foolishly I gave one of them away. Need some more handles. Can't remember where I got them.
Brownell's no longer has them, if they ever did. Anyone have any ideas of where I can find such a thing?
Would appreciate the assistance! Thanks.

It's not just a piece of galvanized iron pipe?

Nope ... the hammer handles have a formed shank that the head is cast around and it has a shock absorbiing molded handle. I vaguely remember that the mould might have been made Cook.
H&G sold these for a while but ran into a problem. The handles had to be fitted to the mould individually. Once that problem showed up they stopped selling them. I bought a mould and six handles. Should last me forever.

At work we just used a piece of 1/2" iron pipe with a cross pin about 1/2" from the end. Emery

That's what I'm used to.

I have used 5/8th inch rebar, picked up on construction sites, usually end cuts just the right size. A small hole drilled about 1/2" from the head end will tie the handle to the head. Add a piece of foam bicyclye handle, and you're in business.

I just used the hammer mould owned by this site. I used 1/2" plumbing pipe with a cap on the end. Cast the head and unscrewed the handle. Now I have 10 replaceable heads.
