question about RCBS 30 carbine dies

A few months back I picked up a set of rcbs at Graffs. When I got it I really didn't know what I was getting. The decap die flares the neck but doesn't size the case. I also came with two sizing dies one full length one a #1. Then there is the #3 seat die. I understand the full length that was easy what about the #1 size die? Also is there anything different about the #3 seating die?

Have you tried reading the die's direction sheet? That would be a good place to start.

Didnt get one, it was a cheap used set

I can't get your picture to open, so just how old is this set of dies? Way back when, many of the handgun or three die sets only sized the brass in the first die, then decapped in the second (belling) die.

Die #1 Full Length size

Die #2 decap and bell the mouth

Die #3 seats the bullet.

yes it is an old set, thanks for the information. Guess ill just use the full length die.
