Finally got around to devising my sortin' board.
Gives a nice "graphical" look at how consistent my pouring is too. :)
Each slot is for .1 grain increments.
Definitely sped up my process.

I am still trying figure out what bullet sorting and fun have to do with each other.
That board looks like a nifty way of doing things. Nicely done.

some polyurethane would have made the grain stand out better.
that's way more high tech than my plastic cups though.

I like your stands for your presses.

I sort mine the same way except I don't have those nice grooves to hold the bullets upright so the cat won't knock them over. It's nice to get that "bell curve". With most of my Lyman 2 cavities I actually get two "bell curves" representing each cavity. With Mehec & NOE molds, not so much.

Thats really high class sorting. I just make piles of .2gr increments for .22 to .25 calibers on a couple of paper towels. I don't even weigh calibers larger than .25.
Nice looking pooch, does he hunt?

That's the first reloading bench I've SEEN in a long time. Nice set up all round.

I like it. If/when I get as far into this as you, maybe I'll remember to make something like it.

I don't weigh pistol boolits either. I only started weighing out rifle stuff, to see if the weights where the occasional flier I was getting
and, it makes me work on m,y technique while casting to get more consistent.
Clyde the pooch only hunts for food and a place to take an obuma after he eats.
He doesn't like gunfire very much.
He was a pound find, about 1.5 years old when I got him, he does like to tree squirrels though :)
The clean bench:
My bench must stay clean as I dont have the mental fortitude that I used to.
I miss mental clarity and the dexterous fingers of my youth
Press stands,
I still have about 7 of these for sale if any body wants one,
one for Lee Classic Cast, one for Dillon 550-650, and several for Rock Chuckers

When you're finished get the dog to sniff your work.
Instant lab report, does'nt get better than that.

Swanky, I envy anyone who has the time to cast that many, which implies he has the time to SHOOT that many too.
I also use margarine tubs to store my boolits. Beats the old baby sock my muzzloader sabots are kept in though... (I forgot I did that, and they stayed on my dresser top for a year!! I was so mad I couldn't find them... They're still in the sock now of course.)

I can show you what the opposite of that looks like. :)

Jim, I like what you've done there. My sorted boolits are lined up precariously on my bench just waiting to get knocked over. I guess I need to build a sorter too.

Thats quite a sorting rig! Sort of a Rolls Royce of sorting rigs. I use a slanted board but without the slots. I just put a sheet of paper over the board (1/2" plywood about 15" square), write the weights on the paper and lay the boolits flat. Like your rig, but it would take more space than I am willing to give up. And I could never find anything in a loading room as neet and clean as yours! Pretty nice!
