I have a old model RCBS sizer - luber, I have a 1/4 in. ratchit wrench on it to screw down the lub. screw, works great. I picked up a used one now that is the newer style rod and it has a cross rod to screw down the lub. screw. Its a real pain, have to pull it for ever bullet. What have you fellows done to make it work ease. Thanks- Smokemjoe

Melt the lube off the threads where the top screws into the sizer body.
Works like a charm...

You could just switch the piston and nut couldn't you?
On mine I welded a piece of 1/4 inch allen wrench on the top
and it works just fine.

Call RCBS, they will send you the necessary parts to make it like your older one. Or get in touch with CarpetMan's mailman who did the conversion for him...
