Has any company ever made a true single shot bolt-action .357 Magnum rifle (no magazine)?
I would like to find something that could be converted to .357Maximum without feed/ejection problems.

Never heard of a single shot 357 bolt action, but there are Ruger #1 rifles made in 357.

Suppose you could make up a single shot adapter for the Ruger bolt gun if the action is long enough to eject a loaded round without removing the bolt.

If you can catch one in stock, why not buy a Ruger 77/357 Bolt action and take it to a competent smith. I'm sure there's enough clearance for a maximum reamer to be used on the barrel. You might have to have a bit of the ejection port ground back slightly. I'd see what a smith thinks anyway before trying. ;)

Otherwise go with a .357 magnum handi-rifle and rent the .357 Maximum reamer from GBO forum and ream it yourself. ;) I have one I've left .357 Magnum as it does all I need it to. ;)
