Hello,i traded my friend some molds this morning that i was not using and got 3 Lyman molds from him #'d 3589,358315 and 375248.If i'm correct the 358 molds are for the .35 Remington? and the 375 would be for a 375H&H? I would appreciate any insight from folks here. These molds were very well taken care of and have no rust or pitting.Thank you.

You did good, until the custom mold makers came into play the 3589 aka the 358009 was long sought after by many for the 35 Whelen. If it chambers it does well in the 358 Winchester, only your chamber and twist rate will let you know about the 35 Rem.

the 375248 is a nice plainbase for the 38-55 but it also shot well in my Ruger #1 375 H&H with light loads. The 358315 shoots OK in my Whelen to about 1500 fps.The 3589 is more collectible than useful or accurate IMHO.You can get $100 out of it and buy a good FP 35 Mold in the 225-250g range. The SAECO #352 shoots very well as do a couple of NEI's i cant remember the number on.

Thank you both for responding.I was'nt aware there was collector interest in the 3859.I'm probably going to place them in the classifieds as my interests are .44 and .32 special molds.

I'd put the 358009 up for auction, see how much you can get for it. $80 for a 2C will be cheap.

the 358315 is a good mould but not so much as collectable. Still a good price can be had for it.

Thanks Blammer,i'll put the 358315 in the classifieds this week, the other two were sold earlier today through a PM.I do not want to deal with Ebay/Paypal again.
