There's a show on TV with one of those painter guys that does the nature scene paintings in 30 minutes. George is fascinated with this guy! Every time he hears this fella's voice, he's up on the mantle piece and glued to the screen.

Is George a sophisticated cat?

Yeah, unlike his brother, Mr. Bill, who would rather hang out in the gun room with me.

The painter was painting a woodland scene. George was tuning in with his accute scense of vision, and was simply scanning the forest floor for a woodland mouse. George was just hungry and looking for a meal. [smilie=w:

Should be a thread or sticky titled "The Mr. Bill chronicles". Great stuff. Thanks for sharing Jim.

Wilco, I've been thinking about doing something like that on my site. Gimme a few days to pull it together and I'll make it happen.

Jim,
You have some great cats. I like the adventures of them. I second the idea of of a dedicated post of them.

Oh man - a dedicated post for Mr. Bill? Dolly already has a big head from her adventures being published, the cat would be downright impossible to live with!

Knowing George, he's probably thinking, "Paint a whiskey still hidden in the woods. Paint a whiskey still....." Ya gotta learn to think like a cat, Jim.

I don't know much about thinkin' like a cat, but I sure know how my cats like to think. Mr. Bill's a good ol' boy, 'nuff said.

George, on the other hand, is a two faced hypocrite. He puts on the face when visitors come around or he sees me with the camera. When there's nobody around to impress, he breaks in my spirits cabinet and gets knee crawlin' stoned.

Is that Bob Ross doing the painting? If so, maybe it's the soothing voice that gets his attention....
