I have this mold and have always wondered. Since I can drive it to 900fps easy in my commander would it really kill game any less efficiently than the old Skeeter Skelton 44spwcial load at 900fps? What am I missing in my theory?

Nothing. It should work just fine. The only significant difference is sectional densityis probably
down a bit, but not a big deal. 452423 was designed for .45 ACP in revolvers, but it will feed in
many 1911s. The launcher should be pretty irrelvant as long as you can hit with it.

If you have the same wt in .430 diam, it will be a bit longer - greater sectional density, so theory
says it should penetrate a bit better. .452 makes a bigger hole. Splitting hairs here, probably.
