Cancer Update

4 days last year before Christmas I found out I had 4 th. stage of lung cancer, They said without chemo- July, with chemo, 15 of them now, why Dec. would be it and they would help me get hospice, I ask for a few prayers from you fellows and it sure has worked, Dec. came and I didnt die, I asked for 2 more opnions, Went to a cancer center in Moline Ill. that has a new radition machince, they said no hope , to far gone.
Then went to Iowa Citie cancer center, The head doc. looked at my cat scan and send me home, no hope, But some other doctors picked up the cat scan and told him something didnt look right.
He called me back about the time I got home and wanted me to come back, They took a piece out of the tumers on the top and came back no cancer, 2nd. trip last week for a brain MRI, no cancer, next I have to go in this month, they are going to cut into my throat area and check the limp nodes. That scares me. after that going through my back into the lower lungs and see how that looks.
The chemo has ripped me apart, lost my hair, no engery, cold all the time, But when they say no cancer it gives me alot of hope to get back to normal some what.

Will put you on prayer list. The doctors/medicine/prayers are all fighting satan. Miracles do happen. My wife's aunt have been given a death sentence twice by her doctors and she was healed from incurable/inoperable cancer twice. She has a great testimony and is a great lady. Do not give up hope. Joe, my profession up until I retired a year ago was Anesthesia. I also had Lymph Nodes removed from my neck and they did the procedure with Local Anesthesia. Your's might be more extensive, I don't know, but if you have to have General Anesthesia, it's safer today than say just a few years ago. All in all, the Neck procedure should be a piece of cake. Prayers included.

my last treatment was in 1990 (Hodgkin's Lymphoma)... It still scares the ell out of me when I think too much. Just hang in there, man. Attitude is a big part of beating it!!

Joe, 18.9 million of were given polio vaccines contaminated with a cancer causing monkey virus circa 1955-1963. It's known as SV40 and Iowa was one of the thirty four states that received the contaminated vaccines. Some researchers back then knew, but there was no way Merck was going to destroy those vaccines and lose all that money. Therein lies the biggest reason for the cancer epidemic we have going now.
