howdy , I am seeking info on a pair of old lyman molds [358432-S & 358432 ], is the top groove a crimping groove ?
or are we suposed to crimp at the top of the bullet ??
has anyone used or is currently using these vintage molds ?
I found them in a 1957 Gil Hebard catalog , any ideas ??
many thanks, happy safe new year, rojo

The top groove is a crimping groove. This one seats long like a semi wadcutter, but has the nose of a button nose wadcutter.

howdy , wow thats odd Gil Hebard recomends these two bulllets for .38 special conversions ??
I guess for the conversions you crimped the bullet at the top ?
so has anyone tried the bullets any good ??
many thanks, rojo
