Hello to all,
I am BRAND NEW to casting boolits and in fact I'm still shopping for all of my equipment. A friend and mentor directed me to this sight. One of the rifles I really want to cast for is my 9.3x62. Short of having a custom mold machined Iwas wondering if anyone could point me to a source for a 250grn 9.3 mold.
Thanks,
Greg

NEI has one, #174, a 260 grain cast from linotype, so from ww will be heavier. Or the #175 a 304 grain.

Do you have a web link for NEI Frank?
Thanks

I was just shooting some the NEI 304 grain bullets yesterday in my 9.3x57. Very accurate bullet!

Scroll all the way down to the bottom of this page and click on the link for the bull shop. There click the links button and you will find a link to NEI.

Welcome to the board, 9.3!

My current mold for the 9.3 x 62 is from Mountain Molds. That firm seems to be inactive at present, the owner is involved in a construction project on his home and shop. Dunno when he will be up and running again.

The 9.3 x 62 is a very fine cast boolit caliber.

I have a four cavity NEI that casts two each of the 260 and 304gr boolits. Within .001" of round (all four) and capable of sub-2moa at 100/200; lighter one at 2200fps, the heavy at 2050fps. The only caveat is that NEI cuts them for the 35 caliber gascheck. I have heard of people cutting the shank at .269" and using annealed 375 GC's. Mine do not lead at the speeds mentioned, and work well.

I've actually ordered the NEI 174. He is indicating a two week ship time. Been almost two weeks now and he has not yet shipped.

Hope this one works well ... need to feed a bunch of 9,3c62 and 9,3x74R rifles. :)

CBE has a nice selection of moulds including several 9.3mm. Their catalog can found from:
