Buck and ball

So
I have been casting my own buckshot with the lee mold,
I have over 10 lbs,
But I got to thinking,
What about buck and ball?

Has anyone done this?
My fishing weight mold drops a 1oz sphere that is .630"

With 3 pieces of 00 Buck that puts it right at 1-1/8oz of shot

Would there be anything else I would have to take into consideration to load these?

B-n-B aint so good for hunting but great for personal defense. It was a favorite load of the confederate cavalry when they carried shotguns and musketoons. Usually was ball and 6 pieces of shot but it's a make your own deal anyway. I loaded and shot some in my #12 double years ago but it was in the "fiber wad" era. LOL, that was a looong time ago.

I had the same idea andrew, as i was casting 00 buck, I thought about maybe a .600 or so ball with buck, just to try it.
