Good morning
Go to the 44 mag data in the rifle section in most any loading manual. Go to the heavy boolits and start working up using the minimum start load. A 260 grainer is a 260 grainer and you are only .02 difference in diameter. Most data will be for "J thangs" so will be usable with lead boolits (less pressure with cast).
So what I know is 2400, 296, 110, 5744,and 1680 on the slow side are good powders to work with in the 41. I would not go faster than 2400 nor much slower than 1680. There are many other powders that fall into those gaps and work real good. The 41 mag does not have alot of room inside the case after you stick a 260 grainer in there. Marlins are real total length sensitive. You can alter the lifter and pick up a little more case capacity but still not much more than 1/16". So you need a powder that can still getup the velocity and too slow burners just donot have enough you can cram in the case. That was one reason I built a 414 Supermag on a 336 Marlin. Lots of case room !
So that is the simple reduction of 15 years shooting a Marlin 41 mag. You are gonna like it ! But having shot a 414 Supermag Marlin 336 Rifle now about 300 rounds.. Wow, that is what narrow minded marlin should have done 20 years ago.

Concur with Mike. I've use RDs mold (non gas checked verison) out of my Marlin. Mine usually weigh just over 260gr instead of 255.

Carried some loaded with W296 in the Smith 58 when in Alaska in October and carried them in the Marlin/Blackhawk during bear/deer season here in NC but they didn't coperate with me.

The Lee manual lists a 250 gr cast bullet with 18-20 gr of H4227 the later having a velocity around 1255.

These are a few that my late dad had used, found in the notes from his Old West Bullet Moulds Company.
