not a gunsmith, but have access to precision machine shop. Any smiths here to give ideas for striker channel and most of its parts (diamondback 9mm). Someone said it needs a return spring. Some ideas from you guys with glock ideas thrown in. Guess its hard to answer if ya cant see it.

The striker channel liner on Glocks are plastic.

Exactly what do you need to replace/repair??

Edit 3 jan,,, Now they say taurus is in charge of manufacturing and market.

Well, Cranes on forum (owns gun shop) says it needs a return spring! And the thing i notice is , it has to be forced in. The glock one slides in and out free of force. I am a novice at this but mix crane's idea with glock assembly and it could fix their lite strike problems after so many rnds forever. Many CNC machines over at my friends shop, Glock parts are quality and design and well thought out first by engineer that knows reliability. Thanks!

OK light strikes.
Check for proper firing pin protrusion or increase forward spring tension or It does sound like things are binding up in there.

As for the binding does the firing pin move freely?
Could you get a slightly smaller OD spring from a real hardware store or is part G04 the real culprit?
