Unless I talk myself out of it before midnight (the sale ends 12/31), I'm going to order one of the Ruger 375 laminated stainless left handed rifles that Davidson's has on sale. What's a good boolet for 375 Ruger? I'm assuming the same boolet that performs well in 375 H&H, but I don't know what that boolet is either.

TIA for any advice, and happy 2013!

The custom Bullshop 375/375 has worked very well with full power loads, 2400 fps in the 375 Ruger.
This is a 375 cal 375gn LFN-GC design.
It works well in the H&H and Whelen as well.

Wow, this thread sure didn't generate a whole lot of response!

I should clarify that I was asking about a mold to make them for myself.

377449 works for me in my 375 H&H M70 for practice nd hunting at 2150 - 2200 fps and for small game at 1850 fps. No reason to doubt it wouldn't do as well in the 375 Ruger.

Oh OK I have one from NEI that drops about a 320gn RNGC that I like as well. I have not used this one in the Ruger cartridge but have used extensively in the H&H cartridge. Like Larry said what is good in one should be good in the other as well.

Hello, Elkins45. Do you happen to know the nominal groove dia. of the .375 Ruger? And you didn't say what use you intended..target or high velocity? If as I suppose, the groove is around .375..and you just wanted an accurate mild shooting load, any of the many plain-based bullets designed for the .38-55 should work well.

Well, did you get it?

I'm waiting for this one to be made.

Well, I bought it. I'm going to pick it up on Monday. I don't have any dies or brass so until they come in I guess it's just a shiny club.

This one is good.....I have a two cavity that was made up (one hp'd and the other cavity solid) back when BRP Molds was in business. The Lyman 375449 is a decent design too and shot nearly as well as the BRP 378275 design.

I am waiting on my RH Laminate 375 Ruger Alaskan with the 23" barrel to show up. I'm thinking this is the mold I am going to try. Hope to hear if you had any luck with your setup.

Lyman 375449 and the Lee 379-250 work very nicely.

I got a 265D form Accurate for my 375. Shoots very well so far.
