My friend came over and I put him in my spot. He has not killed a deer in something like forever, flinching or peeking. I sat on the other side of the woods, heard him shoot and went to him. He was hollering for me. A huge grin that lit up the woods.
I had to give him my knife and talk him through as I helped. His knife must be used to chip concrete!
I have everything in a little pack, drag cable, rubber gloves, etc.
But he is so happy. He is going through cancer treatments now. This will help his recovery.
Then I got another call from another friend. He shot a deer and was pulling it, got chest pains and was rushed to the hospital. Triple bypass. He is doing good.
Think of each other no matter how far apart.
