Does anyone have any experience or information about Charter Arms revolvers in 9mm or 40 cal?

I understand they have a new method of loading and extracting rimless cartridges in a revolver.

Thanks in advance
Bob

True but one of the sad facts is that on Gunbroker a new 40 S&W charter runs at least $100 more than a new 44 special. If the prices were similar a 40 S&W might be worth carrying as a back up sd gun. IME, the 44 far outclasses it.

For the $$$ it is hard to beat Charter Arms. I agree, the .44 Special Bulldog is the best bet in their line-up. Mine was fantastic. 21 ounces of big bore. If you only shoot a couple boxes of ammo a month out of a Charter Arms revolver it should last a long time and give you good service. Not for heavy use.

They are supposed to release a .45 acp version of that pistol also. I'm holding out for that as I prefer the .45
