I apoligies for my spelling and my post! I would have swore we had a optical forum, no or maybe there is and I am to dumb to find it:roll:
Ok, here a few weeks ago a buddy and I went to a small Gun Show. He pushed me around and just as we were headed to the door, I had him stop because I spotted a Red Dot optical, it looked brand new, we were ready to go and I just wasn't thinking about what it fit on. Of course when we got into the truck and I went to look it over real good I seen that it only fit on a 22 rail, so, does any one make a mount that goes from the 22 rail to the picitiny rail? If so, what would be the proper wording for it?
I would be great full for any and all help?

Amazon is great for finding accessories. Sometime you have to change the wording to get what you're after.

WCP: did you fly Sixes, or work on Sixes?

I got to see a few Sixes when I was in but never saw one fly. They were everything F102's were supposed to be.

I was a MA1 radar tech from 1973 to 1985. Never even got to fly the back seat on a F106B. The six was an all weather interceptor and was superior to other aircraft in its time frame. I was stationed at K.I. Sawyer AFB in Michigans upper peninsil when my squadron was deactivated. My last 4 years were in SAC on the B1B. Never liked SAC as much as my first 16 years.

I was in from 1969 to 73. We always said, "SAC sucks." and sometimes with a TAC assist!

Wish I had stayed for the full 20, I'd be much better off financially. I didn't get married until I was 39 anyway and that is when I would have gotten out.

I first enlisted in 1968 and got out after my first enlistment. Then in 1973 went back in and stayed until retiring in 1989. I was stationed at Castle AFB at Merced from 73 to 76 and really enjoyed my stay there. Did allot of duck, goose and pheasant hunting around Merced. I had a good career in the AF with many good friends and memories.
