What do the prices look like for Ar 15 in your neck of the woods?

Insane, One shop was asking $2000 for an S&W M&P sport AR15 just like mine. I got it less than a year ago for $600.
On the plus side my brother gots a high end AR he has been planning to sel and real make a good profit on it.

I'm sitting on one right now. There's a gun show this weekend, and was thinking of selling. Windham weaponry upper on top of a Stag Arms lower. I'm trying to get a feel of what a fair price would be? Thinking $1100-1200.

three guns shops in my area of south central MN.
one is out...they didn't gouge.
the other one has "Basic" with iron sites, starting at $1200
the last one builds them to suit, He said he was sitting
on nearly 100 uppers and lowers, his price is $900 for basic, no sites.

right now what ever you dare to ask you can probably get. Yes there are some pretty daring people around here....

I am pretty sure we will see another escalation, the same as we saw right before and during the Brady Bill. I went by a LGS last Thursday to pick up some small pistol primers. The parking lot was more full than I had ever seen it there. But it also could have been because of last minute shoppers, or not. I thought about checking to see if any of there prices had increased, but there were too many people at the counters. They have three cash registers, two for the firearms sales, and one next to the entrance for everything else. I was able to walk in, get the primers and pay right away. They didn't seem to have a shortage on primers or powder. It seemed most of the people there were looking at firearms.

i just got a stag 6-H for less than i paid for my armalite NM-15 a few years back.
maybe nobody wants the target models.
i haven't been to a gun shop in over a month so maybe things have changed.

If you can find AR15s or parts, they are going through the roof. Last Sept I could barely get anyone to buy my Like new M4 for $700. I lowered the price to $675.00 and it sold.
