I am looking for someone to fix my revolver. It is a Dan Wesson Mdl 15. I need a side plate and extractor fitted. Looking for recommendations. I am in Louisiana but Smith does not need to be local.

I first contact
http://www.cz-usa.com/about-dan-wesson/
If they don't have a repair center then I'd ask over here

or

Last time I tried to contact CZ relative to my Model 15 they either ignored me or never received the message (sent from the web form on their page). I don't believe they ever sold a Model 15, either identical to the 1970s vintage version or not, though in theory they should have any parts stock left from the original company.

The other place to look for the parts is Numrich, of course, though it's probably a gunsmith job to fit the side plate; I don't think the extractor requires fitting, just installation with all the bits in the right order and position.

I was trying to stay away from CZ. Their website says that the extractor needs to be fitted so they only sell them to gunsmiths. I also have to fess up. I have made 32 cal and 22 cal barrels for my mine and I need the extractor for my 32-20 cylinder. I have test fired the 32-20 using my .357 extractor and it is very accurate and I doubt that they would set up a gun to shoot .357 and .32-20 from the same frame.

try numrich gunparts. Model 15 is the easiest to get parts for. The large frame on the other hand is a different story.

Beside the need to have a 32-20 extractor, I need either of the two side plates I have, repaired/fitted. I also have a barrel shroud that needs polish/blueing. I want to hand this project over to a quality smith and not do it myself.
