Christmas Eve...was feelin' a sad and alone til...the UPS man delivered...

Today,
Like most days, I'm home alone working on a few projects. But today I am recalling how wonderful Christmas eve was when I was a child.

Then the UPS delivery Guy shows up and delivers this.
I felt like a child again. it even came with a gift.
What a great Christmas Eve.

I'm heatin' the pot right now.

casting with WW alloy went well.
with temp around 640º the boolits dropped .505"
I did have a little random problem of the middle cavity and Base fillout.
Maybe more venting ?
as in hitting the upper/inner corner of the mold blocks with a fine file.
I'll try a second casting session first

Break the sharp edge off the blocks with a fine file and pour the middle ones first. Thanks for showing pics of a Balllisticast mould, we don't see too many really good shots of those around here. Enjoy your new masterpiece!

Good show. I was feelin' for ya when I read your title...... Spent two Christmases alone as a teen in LA on my own with no money to see family. They were bleak days, so I knew exactly where you were comin from.

But the new mold looks pretty awesome. Happy New Year.
