I'm just curious if anyone has tested this bullet design for expansion. If it does work, what Brinell are you running it at and at what velocities? Thanks!

I has fairly thin walls and if it is like its .44 brother it will probably shear off the front part of the bullet. I have the mold but have never cast with it.

I don't know that mold, but when I hollow point 124 grain 9mm bullets with a Forster tool the lead needs to be quite soft (8-10 BHN) and moving at at least 900fps. If these factors are in place, expansion is quite radical, like double.

Out of a 356 Winchester it turned itself apart in a gallon jug. 2000 fps+, ww alloy.
