Loose magazine tube on Mossberg 464

Hey guys. The magazine tube on my Mossberg 464 .30-30 is quite loose, you can move it around a lot just by hand. All the screws are tight and I don't see any broken parts. Forgive me for the dumb question but this is not how it's supposed to be, correct? None of my Marlins are like this nor was the Winchester 94 I used to have.

My 1970's Winchester Model 94 .30-30 is loose like that....I think it shoots better that way really. This one an excellent shooter...if a bit finish challenged from abuse.

Loose mag tube is generally a good thing for accuracy, lets the barrel do it's
own thing.
