Going to try some 55 gr cast boolits in my Remington 700. Anyone have any loads for H335 or IMR 4320? Have found lots of loads using 700x, any reason to use that instead of H335 or the IMR 4320?

H335 may not ignite efficiently at cast bullet psi's for best accuracy. 4320 may work better. Start at 16 gr and work up. Use a 1/3 gr dacron filler when loading density is less than 80%. Assuming your 55 gr cast are GC'd?

Yes they are GC'ed.

Been using 4320 with filler in my 308 with cast boolits. have 700X would that be a better powder to use?

Only if you want 22LR velocities. The 4320 may work with a dacron filler as suggested. Give it a try, if not try H4895.

Loaded some with the 4320, haven't had a chance to try them yet. If I load a few with 700X do I need to use a filler in them too? If so how much?

No. Fast powders due not require a filler.
