The Lady is a Looker and smart.

I have followed her show for 8-10 years I guess.

We got somebug/virus a while back.

Came past our firewall and Norton.

Running Norton's software would/could not clean it.

Norton Tech only took 7.5 hours to cleanse the machine!

But cleanse it he did!

She's OK, but honestly doesn't really do it for me...

So you guys like liberal women? Just sayin

Norton Ghost best thing ever to fix a computer virus. Load Windows and all the software, update everything, load Norton Ghost make a backup on a second drive and NG startup cd. Then if your computer crashes from a virus or other software issue. You just pop the NG startup disc in, set your bios to boot from cd and restore your C drive. Takes about 5-20 min for most computers. It's much faster than trying to reload all your software one at a time, or screwing around with your antivirus that missed the virus to start off with. Most people make the mistake in thinking their antivirus will catch the virus after it’s already gotten past it once. It rarely works that way unless it hasn’t been updated in a while

Best thing to do with Norton, is to get rid of it. It's a virus. Use AVG or some reliable program.

I've used the system restore several times over the years. has worked every time so far. Got the "no subject" e-mail from my sister last week, called her and told her she probably had a virus sending this out. She is running Norton, but it missed this one. The people writing these viruses are pretty sharp.

For those that like "free", Microsoft Security Essentials works very well (it caught the only virus I've encountered in the last 3 years), and there is an open source (free) backup program called "Redo" that is similar to Norton Ghost.

My thoughts about Microsoft as well...Ray

Amen! The first thing I do with a new computer is to remove all things Norton, Norton causes more problems than it solves and there are much better antivirus software programs available, even the free version of AVG is better than Norton.

I watched it 3 times. I don't even have sound here, so I don't know what she was talking about, but I enjoyed it. [smilie=l:
