............A member sent me a 2cav copy of this mould to be HP'd and graciously allowed me to hang onto it for a couple extra days so I could cast some up.

...........It's apparently supposed to be a 280 or 285gr, and is a TCGC design. My alloy ended up being right at 21 BHN and the solid weighed 278.6 grs while the HP'd slug was 263 grs. Meplate was .250" and the customer wanted a .203" OD HP. I had made 3 HP pins and was using the medium depth pin (top pin in the left photo) for the casting session. I know the alloy was quite hard for a HP, but I don't intend to hunt with them. Just wanted so see what difference if any, they made in shooting. It appaers to be a fairly recent (modern) design with it's small and narrow lube grooves, but I don't find it currently listed. Anyone have any experience with this design?

I know 454 but what does it drop 452? that would be nice 45-70 GC slug
or 460
