Got the old girl out and gave her a run recently, I am still pleasently surprised at how well she runs here's a pic of the old girl surrounded by some of her kids.56234I also took this pic of my old 3 screw flattop and the mold as I get ready to feed her.56235

I used to have that same mold back in the 80s. One of the best I've ever owned. I still can't figure out why I sold it.

My first boolit molds were a Lachmiller 2 cavity and a Lee single holer. Threw away the Lee and learned to cast with the Lachmiller--Later got a 3 cavity Cramer and thought I was in hog heaven--3 at a time? Oh boy, Oh boy!

I have bought three Lachmiller moulds, and I appreciate all of them. Very nice moulds.
Two of them are three cavity. One of them is the 148 grain 38 wadcutter, which cast fine boolits.
The latest, is a 454190 cavity, that I have not cast with yet. I believe that I will again be pleasently, when I do cast with it.
My favorite aspect of these 3 cavity moulds, is the weight. They will still cast plenty of boolits in a session, but the weight is quite
a bit less than the four cavity moulds that I have used. The hand/wrist fatigue is not as quickly noticable.
Cast on.

I have the same mould. It casts well, but it does heat quickly. Bullplate is a real asset when using it.

Gator, from DJ here on the board is all I buy anymore. If I get a mold that won't take 'em I reckon I'll be sellin' that mold. Dennis
