I know I can dig around and find it but for the sake of conversation.......
1 40 Cal SWC 175-200 gr plinking into a 1-25yd finisher for up to elk. As a back up only please and thank you,not a primary tool.
2 9/3 8/3 5 7 135 gr SWC also as above.
3 I've the 27-130 but want to explore 150-160 gr Boolits for patching in a wildcat 7mm way down at the low end of case volume. I want Boolits both pointy and blunt or perhaps a SIL style. The intent is 3 fold. The cartridge is suited to 200yard deer at best,but will be well suited to being a stalking/mountain/"walking varmiter" rifle tipping in under 7#. It should be well up to any task handled w/7-30,or 30-30 maybe a little more,like 250 Savage. It will do duty as a lady's rifle as well as a transition rifle up to medium CF from RF. (Qualifier for lady's gun the GF is 5'4" w/fused wrist and I've 2 girls coming up 1 is headed for the realm of 6ft tank while the other looks to be more like 5'2" 100#). Lastly simple paper punching. W/past efforts as a guide I can see plain cast to 12-1500 fps and the 130 to 2500 or so ,w/160s around 2100. The sights should be pretty well infinite as adjustment goes for the primary irons. But now I've shared to much and am rambling.
