Does anyone know anything about a V Bernardelli model 80 380.
Are they reliable, and how do you tear one down to clean it?

V. Bernadelli was established in 1791 and produces well made and reliable firearms.

To field strip the Model 80:

Place the safety in the safe position.
Remove the magazine.
Pull the slide to the rear to clear the chamber
Depress the takedown catch (located at the left rear of the pistol below the slide)
Pull the slide another approximately 5/8" to the rear and lift the rear of the slide and ease forward off the frame
Remove the recoil spring.
No further disassembly recommended.
When reassembling, place the tightest coil of the recoil spring to the rear of the pistol.
