So finaly I am able to start setting up the press I have been building for some time now. It's coming along nicely, A little hint here, if you make one, DON'T PAINT IT. The tolerances are too tight.Once you paint it you gotta scrape it all off. [smilie=b Got another one in the works, about 50% done right now.

Next thing to do is get a pool ball and drill/tap it for the handle. I think my son in law has some. And need to start making some dies.

Very nice looking press. What did you paint it with?

Man;
I'm truly envious of you guys with the skills & tooling to make things like this, not to mention the dies. I wish I'd have learned machining when I was a kid. Envious...

Wow, that thing is gorgeous, very nice work! What calibers are you planning to swage for?

For paint I use Rustoleum wrinkle finish. Looks better in the flesh than the cell phone pics.
I have BT Snipers dies for 44 cal. and I will be making some dies for 22 cal for .223 Contender and am working on a barrel for my TCR in 22-30-30.
