Just thought I'd show off a pic of my son's first CB kill. A nice boar hog taken here in Georgia. Downed it at 40 yards with a round ball out of a .50 cal Lyman Plains rifle. The ball entered just behind the left shoulder, toasted the lungs, and ended up in the right shoulder. The ball was pure lead and expanded like a nickle. The hog dropped in its tracks. That was one happy 17 year old!

My CB kills have all been with MLs so far, but this fall I hope to use my Ruger .41 mag SBH Bisley hunter on deer. wish me luck.

RugerFan, looks like a great job to me!
My 17yo son and I have been wanting to hunt hogs for awhile now. Now that I'm out of school, I think we'll have to book a hunt in Texas or something.

Congrats to your son.
