I've been loading 7.5g of Unique behind 429421's for a 2.5" Bulldog. It seems to work out ok for me. I was thinking about trying some Trailboss behind the same boolit. Has anyone tried Trailboss in a snubby?

probably work fine but i doubt your going to get enough of it in there to equal your 7.5 grain of unique load in velocity

I've been using 5.2gr TrailBoss under a 250gr SWC with a CCI 300 primer in PMC cases in my 2" Taurus 445.

It thumps pretty good.

As long as you don't compress it, I don't think you can really get into too much trouble. Start low and work up to the base of the bullet, and compare it to your Unique load. It is a faster burning powder, so it may be a benefit to you in the shorter tube. Only trying will tell.
