T C Breech Plug

How do you get one out of a renagade? 20 year old kit, never been out but really need's to. Thanks

TC sells breech plug wrenches,, your Renegade will need #7314. Fox Ridge Outfitters should stock them.

I have tried many times to remove TC plugs without ruining the plug. No luck even with the wrenches. They must crush fit them in a machine.

When I get one that is stuck I use a little heat. Make sure it is unloaded before you take a torch to it. Took a plug out of a CVA the other day and had to get it very hot before it would move, rusted in bad.
