Value of a S&W M58?

I saw an ad for a S&W .41 mag, 4", fixed sights, blue, very good condition, said "Make me an offer". What are these going for these days? I sent a quick offer for $275 but I have a feeling the guy is going to laugh at that!

Don't see many of these around any more; i had on I let "get away" and would like to get this one, if I can afford it! :)

That's about what I paid for my mine...new about 1970 or so. I had mine armalloyed and magnaported...its one of the guns that I wish I had never sold!
