Has any body ever seen a recipe for bullet lube using this

55874

It's ~25% Refined paraffin wax and ~15% hydrotreated microcrystaline wax

I'm assuming the ballance is some kind of petroleum based solvent.

I recently salvaged a stick of it and am wondering if it has any promise.

Yes. The viscosity needs to be cut per application. You need to develop a formula using it and report back with applications you found exceptional compared to what you are using now. ... felix

show us a pic of the wax itself if you can, and one of the ingredients them selves.
i'd be looking at some vaseline as a possible plasticizer.

The wax is white and opaque.

Firm, but not hard like a candle

It's just a little greasy to the touch

i'd make it a bit more pliable with a little vaseline and try it.
at least on a dozen boolits in a revolver.
the visc can be manipulated easy nuff and a little tacky can be added if you want.
