I am off for surgery tomorrow. Dr is doing a decompression oseotomy to clear up artheritic issues in my big toe joint. I am not looking forward to it but if it gets rid of the pain that wiill be great.

Prayers with you sir,you will be fine in no time! I just came through a bladder cancer episode and feeling great now.God's miracles are amazing,put your trust in his hands fully and you are rewarded 10 fold...GT27

LOML had what is probably the same or very similar operation this past spring. Had problems probably because she put the wrong shoe on too soon, damaged the next joint or deeply bruised this. About back to normal now. Give yourself time to heal before you try pushing it.

Thanks guys, I am back home and things went well. Walking boot for four weeks [no driving] and a good bunch of sick leave saved up.

Glad it turned out well for you. I've spent some time in a walking boot it definitely beats a plaster cast but still takes some getting used to. FB
