Does anybody have a clue as to why there are no 338 Hornady gas checks in stock on the face of the planet? If not for my good friend Hardcast Taylor I'd be out of luck.

Just wondering if it's that oddball a caliber to cast for or if it's that popular. Going to write Hornady today.

Hey just curious, it doesn't need to turn into a full blown debate.....

The very reason I got a 338 checkmaker from PatMarlins.

We were trying to corner the market so we could scalp the price.

Just remembered. I stopped by William`s gunshop in Davison today to get some powders. They haven`t carried ANY gaschecks in years there I was told. They sell bullet molds but nothing that goes with the casting process else.Robert

I know he does but trying to standardize on Hornady which is what I use now. But Thanks!

And as far as the checkmaking stuff goes? I can buy a LOT of gaschecks for what one of those costs................

Blammer, that "more soon" wouldn't happen to include 30's & 44's would it? ;)
