My cast boolits out did all others.

Thanks to all who have given me the advise necessary to get started makin my own. Yesterday I went to the range with some very good custom ammo and some of my own casted from my Lee mold with WW and my boolits were responsible for the best groupe of the day. 5 shots inside of a 8" square at 100 yds. That may not sound like much but for me off hand with open sighted handgun it's the best I can do. I showed my boolits off to the guys around there like they were my new child. After all they were more work than I did makin my son 25 years ago.

...............At 100 yards with a pistol I'd be happy to hit the backstop ............... with ANY kind of boolit :-). Nice to have your initial work with cast turn out so well. Doesn't always happen like that and it's nice when it does.

I'm with Buckshot, anything with a one hander beyond 25 yds for me is just about a joke.
