I guys!
I have made 3-400 brass gaschecks with .015" brass shimstock material. They
Fit a little snug, but lube and size with normal resistance on my
Lyman Lube/sizer.

Has anyone Experienced any issues shooting this material? Have any of you seen any increase in pressures?

I am hoping the brass Will allow higher pressures/velocities than copper gaschecks.

Give me your thoughts/experiences guys.

RANGE REPORT

Hi guys, i am going to try to post 2 targets with all the loading info on them. But I will have to wait untill I get to my home computer. This website/or phone doesnt allow me to upload from my I-Phone Photo library. Very dissappointing!
Hopefully I will be able To post them here later!

Note: The diamond in the lower center of the target has a 1/2" white center.

The "ONLY" difference between the two loads is the thickness of brass used to make the gaschecks, and the powder charges.

All groups are very encouraging! Accuracy is good enough to hunt with. I hate the occasional fliers I get. I guess its all part of shooting I guess!

To be honest with you, I have only used standard Brass shimstock. I am not sure of the hardness.
