been seeing a few of these and a couple are rite snappy looking sooooo question i have is...could a feller re-line one with say a 38-55 or a 50-70 liner and feel safe with the job to do some shooting with such a critter? the ones i see are mostly scandenavion in origon but i know nothing about the strength of these shotguns in a roller configuration.

just seekin info on em...thanks...[smilie=s:

I would be careful with the commercial shotguns with the cut away style action ( they look a little more decorative around the breechblock area of the action and there is less metal ). as far as converting goes ? whats wrong with the 12.7x44r cartridge ( some of them will take a 50-70 case thats trimmed down a whisker anyway).
