Hi,can someone help me? I have a modern rolling block labled Schutzen G.S. Colorado and on the barrell No.2 Creedmoor I have had it for over 15 years. It has a half octagon barrell and is over 10 lbs. the serial number is 1637. It has a tang sight and a adj. fore sight with level...Any thoughts?

There used to be a company called schutzen gun works. Don't know if they are still around. Remember seeing their ads in either rifle and handloader mags. Frank

.............Yup, Schuetzen Gun Company. I have a reply envelope here with 2 photos of beautiful Rem RB's and price list with a Jan 1, 1996 date, AND a 32¢ 1st class stamp. Gopher Slayer currently has a breech block from a fine German SS up there having the firing pin re-done. As for myself I'm a bit slower out of the blocks as I still have the RB action I was inquiring about back in '95. I wonder if those prices would still be any good? He has a nice website, btw.

I guess just price, was it a quality rifle,how it was made did they use old remington parts ect. ect. did the rifle have a following in its day,is it collectable.This thing is no inport it is a nice 45-70.. thank you for your time...

Thank you Buckshot.I went to the sight,nice nice work.I will send him a letter.I did not see rifles for sale though,I wonder if he just does rework and custom.My rifle is just standard but still a step above..
